But more often than not, courts have ruled that biometrics are not covered. So they can force you to provide a face scan or fingerprint to unlock your phone but not to provide a password as that is considered testimonial and covered by the 5th Amendment. If one of these cases goes before the US Supreme Court, I think we already know which way they would rule on it...
