There's an interesting follow up question to this as well. AGI won't come from LLM, it'll come from a completely different direction (holographic parallelism to start, at the very least, possibly gestating from biology roots). When it does, it won't be a bubble. It can't be. It will be a phase change for the human species as it is. Of course, we are in the age of our species actively and intentionally mutating itself (a completely new thing on this planet), so there's a chance we will already be so severely changed that it won't be as big a deal as I'm seeing it. We're not close yet, imho, but I think it's also hard to predict past 50 years at this point regardless. Technological change is just accelerating too fast.
