I’ve often thought about this, and mostly agree. But I think another technology that will also come about over time will be something like a birth pod. That is, we’ll be able to grow people. At first it’s going to be just the wealthy and affluent people who don’t want to carry and have a natural birth. But, eventually, the State may take this technology and use it to preserve humanity. But, tbh, I don’t think countries will want to grow the population and maintain replacement numbers because they aren’t going to need them. When ai and robots are literally doing all of the work we were originally doing, why have more humans?
