Every movie studio (and game studio, and music studio) should be against AI, logically. Because when anyone in their parent's basement can make a movie, your movie studio loses 100% of it's value. There is no value to be had with your industry connections, directors, actors, filming/recording locations, etc, if none of that is required anymore. If movie studios were smart, they would have been against all generative AI from the beginning, but instead they've been funding it, thinking it could make movies cheaper. Yes, dummy, it can make movies cheaper, which means you soon will be competing with every living person on the planet, rather than just a few studios. The studies funding AI are funding their own irrelevance and subsequent erasure.
