Crazy how when mental illness goes wrong in young people specifically suicide we play the blame parents or chats card. BUT we never as a society never ever blame ourselves. We don’t treat mental illness with care and people would rather get help from AI, from google, from themselves than doctors. Being a dick about caring about mental illness is not caring about mental illness. As someone who suffered depression, if it isn’t online it’ll be in person. So you going ham about parents parents parents or ChatGPT is aiming at the wrong areas and allowing another person to go through with suicide instead of asking what do we do next? The most upvoted comments are all negative as fuck. That doesn’t make a single depressed or mentally ill person feel better and if you say it’s not my part or issue then thanks you’re just as bad as the “parents” or whatever you want to blame
