The snake oil of LLMs as a solution to everything, including us as the labor force for Capitalists is just a shameless cash grab. The companies that run our domestic models collected billions in investments - and they are ridiculously inefficient. The Chinese models already do exponentially better on both fronts. Advancement peaked because the money did. We didn't do more with more money, we made rich people richer with it.
