Running these things costs a ton of money. They’ve been getting investors to fund this. While people do pay monthly for this stuff it doesn’t really cover the cost of it all. They need business adoption. The bubble will burst when the investors walk away. There will still be some LLMs around. They’re too useful and there are inexpensive routes bit the big push to AGI will stall. Or the Chinese teams get there first.
