I use AI daily for coding. Sometimes it takes a wrong turn, but often it can follow a pattern, fill in missing pieces, give me workable algorithms, etc.
I've found the trick is to give it small tasks, to be very specific, and to thoroughly check what it's done. The result is I can get a week's worth of work done in an afternoon.
It's a tool, and you have to learn how to use it.
