We live in this weird world state where shaming anyone for anything has been demonized, no questions asked. That's a very bad thing, as shaming is an incredibly important tool (that is sadly often misused) for a society to encourage or dissuade people into healthier behavior. People using an AI to compensate for the loneliness in their lives is an absolutely unhealthy behavior that will cause serious damage, long-term.
Shame is a tool, and like any tool, it can be used properly or poorly.
