Yeah. I do mention in the post that I agree ChatGPT isn't a stand-in for therapy. It can't replicate human interaction completely, and I agree there. I just think few people are asking why people turn to AI so much, and because the reasons are so complicated and large, a lot of people just default to shaming people for being lonely enough to turn to it. I don't think ChatGPT is harmless, I'm just not surprised a lot of people turn to it when actual socialization is hard for a lot of reasons.
