I hate this black and white mindset. Either AI is going to eliminate all devs or AI is total hype and is useless. Like all things in life, there's a lot of gray. It has its uses and it can speed up a lot of dev work. Debugging is waaaay faster using AI. As are making small changes to code. Want a POC? 30 mins and it's done. Building an entire app from scratch without knowing anything about coding? Fuck no. Of course it can't do that. But it can do a lot of other things. And people who keep insisting it can't are lying to themselves.
