It feels like tech leadership and a lot of other people are valuing wealth over everything else, or they're just not scared of hiding how they really feel any longer. I was surprised/saddened to see how much the tech companies capitulated. But they want their money, and they don't want to get broken up by anti-trust decisions. I'm also a bit surprised by how many "normal" people are consumed by AI. A lot of people I used to work with on the business side can't stop posting inaccurate info about it on LinkedIn. They're in sales and branding mode. Just want to add one more thing. I used to read Fishbowl a lot. Imagine an app like Blind, but it is for consulting. They've been try to branch out into tech, and there are tech consulting companies. Anyway, in their main consulting bowl, the biggest target for exit opportunities for management consultants and strategy people are tech companies. They understandably want to make more money. But when you think about culture erosion in tech, this is one source of it. Sundar Pichai was from McKinsey.
