It doesn’t, studies are coming out that show using AI for software development results in about a 20% decrease in productivity. There’s also internal studies I’ve heard through the software development grapevine in Seattle that say the same thing as the ones that are publicly published. AI is about reducing the power of labor as well as the fact that if AI fails, then it’s gonna cause a bunch of economic turmoil. Oops.
