For OpenAI to call their agents "AGI" is like Microsoft calling VBA macros "AGI"
They know AGI is a hype so they are lowering the bar and calling simple automated tasks AGI.
OpenAI wants access to your data in your hard drive to train their models, so by using an AI agent to scrape your data while performing automated tasks will allow them to do so as you gave permission to do so
