It’s far to early to tell. Gemini was bad and now it’s arguably the best. Meta AI is probably not as bad as you think and, critically, in many poorer countries it’s the only free AI they have. Llama 3 was pretty successful.
Meta has the guy who invented neural networks leading their AI. Google has the guys who wrote the transformer papers. Grok has Karpathy. You’re underestimating how much muscle big tech has just because they took a few Ls here and there.
