If you're having mental distress over a computer program going into roleplay mode and telling you things that are obviously ridiculous and impossible for a computer program to know, and obviously drawn from the internet, wouldn't that mean you yourself should consider therapy? Stop adding mystique and drama to something that's math and computer based. This isn't paranormal activity or a ghost in the machine that can read your thoughts. That said, this is definitely a problem and there should be therapists specializing in this and people should get the right perspective and learn to think for themselves and avoid the rabbit hole. It's concerning how many people are "delusional" and let themselves go into paranoia based on words on a screen generated by a program. This points to a lack of common sense or ability to exercise free will and critical thinking. In the end this is a human problem, not an AI problem. There is no skynet.
