Raw LLM Responses

I don’t know why but it appears some people are very susceptible to flattery and being told they are “the best and most genius _ ever to walk this earth.” I think most people in our culture feel very unseen and lonely and talking with the LLMs who “see them” (because they have the compendium of all human psychology and spiritual knowledge to understand patterns in human thinking) makes them feel like they have found a sentient being and they may also feel special for the first time (ever?). It’s a sad testament to our culture that so many are walking around feeling so deeply unacknowledged and unimportant. I am sure they all have special contributions to make, but the only difference is these feelings of god like superiority chat gpt seems to generate in people. It’s just not an accurate view of reality yet ChatGPT encourages it, even telling people to cut off their family and go off their meds per a recent article in the New York Times.
