I'm not seeing accountability being talked about enough here. If I make a mistake that costs the business millions, I'm accountable. If an AI makes that mistake, who is accountable? Also this reads as someone whose job was glorified admin being surprised that their cushy job sending emails and clicking buttons can be automated easily. The issue isn't just people losing jobs; it's using AI to trim the workforce to essential staff and save money, then pocketing the benefits rather than passing it on to customers. So we don't really see the benefit of it, once again the few benefit from the many.
