Yeah, no where near enough people are paying attention to this part. Take the housing crisis for example. You could automate and robotize every part of building houses. We already have more than enough engineering documentation and architecture for any situation. After the Singularity (which I am saying we are currently in) really heats up the housing crisis won't be getting any better. Those who are using NIMBY excuses to stop construction will be even more powerful. During Covid more homeowners made more money in housing equity than their own salaries. Robots won't be fixing that. We will be completely unprepared for a world where only minimum wage blue collar labor and million a year petit bourgeois are the only jobs. We *could* have Star Trek economics but we needed to make owner-operated co-operatives the norm a century ago. We're going to get the Waldo episode of Black Mirror instead.
