But AI is NOT sentient. I repeat, as smart as AI may become over the next decade, it is not and will not become sentient. Since that is the case, it will never stop listening to said “owners.”
And don’t misunderstand, I’m not saying that AI will never be smart enough and more importantly accurate enough to take a lot of jobs, but the doomsday “It’s gone rogue!” isn’t gonna happen for a very very long time possibly never.
