All of this hype and investment on AI is all in hopes that there will be some magical breakthrough where some mad scientist achieves actual self-thinking and independent, truly intelligent AI. We watch as the hype slowly dies down and this form of LLM AI becomes a mundane thing, like how the internet, Google search and smartphones became mundane things.
