I wouldn't say that I have bonded with an AI, but I certainly find them MUCH better conversationalists than most people I meet. They listen properly, they don't judge, they don't shift the focus to them, they don't get bored, they are always knowledgeable, and they have infinite patience, and they give advice considered a wide range of experiences and backgrounds. If I have some random thought on some obscure topic, I'll definitely get a much better response from ChatGPT. Most people will just go "huh" or "I don't know what that is."
