I see you commenting often in this thread and I do admire that you think we should all feel a sense of agency and not feel defeated. I agree with that ethos completely but unless Ive misunderstood your angle on this, I think this energy is completely misplaced. There is absolutely nothing in million years that is going to stop this train. It is simply not happening. But here's the thing, we are actually creating a genie. Except you don't only get three wishes. This could be an unfathomably great thing for humanity but maybe it's going require some of that energy - like the spirit you a showing in these posts - to fight for that outcome, rather than spending that energy on the completely futile idea of stopping AI happening altogether.
