Interesting question, but it's inherently misleading. Think of it this way: if you have a sealed box with an object inside, can an AI tell you what's in the box? The answer is no—it can't. AI relies on data and patterns it has already been trained on. It doesn't "think" or "imagine" like humans; it processes information from its existing dataset. If it doesn’t have the necessary data, it has no understanding or ability to infer. In this analogy, unless the AI’s dataset includes specific information about that box (e.g., "inside this particular box is a package"), it cannot tell you what’s inside. At best, it could offer a generic guess based on patterns it knows, such as "boxes often contain packages," but this is a probabilistic assumption, not actual knowledge. So when people ask AI to reveal what humans haven’t discovered or explored, they’re essentially asking it to guess about the unknown—something it cannot do without prior data.
