Japanese-English translation is one of the hardest because the language distance is extremely wide. However, if you use ChatGPT-4.o, it can already translate English to Japanese or Japanese to English quite decently. I'm pretty sure translation jobs will eventually disappear sooner or later. It already does a great job even online slangs.
