Not sure where you are, but day rate for carpenters in the uk is £350-400 average, then down near London and the south east, you're looking 600+ I know Industrial electricians on 180k+ per year, they work via ltd, work tax efficiently and take home £100k, I know my preferred plumbers day rate is £350 which is probably a 50k takehome if she did day rate, but she did a month for a house we built, 95% off-grid - her labour was 17k on the final invoice on that, that was WITHOUT parts I'm not too sure I'd scoff at 600/day
