I think about how I was 19 and was working a few bucks over minimum wage and my girlfriend at the time was making barely above minimum wage and though we were flat broke we had an apartment. Here iam late 30s and wife and I just in the last few years bought a home. That’s coming from saving like crazy over the years then rent was about to jump over to the point we were like a house is this much and ended up being cheaper with what we put down. There’s no way my kid will be able to move out at 19 and that’s just wild.
