I really hate obfuscating language that talks around pinning responsibility for crimes. AI is a tool. It isn't sentient (yet), and has no goals of its own to undermine elections. Those goals are the responsibility of certain individuals, both foreign actors as well as "citizens" tired of all this democracy nonsense getting in the way of being in charge. Do the damn law enforcement work, identify them, charge them, and prosecute them.
