At this point I just kind of assume all the major countries are already at covert AI-cyberwar with each other, essentially running systems to try and destabilize their enemies. Social media manipulation, bot farms, economic disruption, digital intrusions, etc. The nightmare is if everyone gets really good at it, we're essentially destroying the world, sowing emotional turmoil, corrupting politics, crafting hyper-anxiety - "at scale and silently"
