I agree with you completely, but given that there is at least one [billionaire-funded lobbying group against UBI](https://www.scottsantens.com/billionaire-fueled-lobbying-group-behind-the-state-bills-to-ban-universal-basic-income-experiments-ubi/), and I think we're in trouble.
I am an RN and therefore probably in close to the last group to be completely automated, but I am completely in favor of a UBI, and I VOTE!
