> If I was to guess, this is what the model sees before anything you send gets sent. Not really that simple. LLMs especially weaker ones like GPT-3.5 have shorter attention span. It has been shown before that they tend to only remember the last part of a long prompt. Just because it's there doesn't mean that the model will adhere to it. Certainly OpenAI will not rely on this being the only mechanism to make sure that the model does not produce undesirable output or something that can get them into trouble. They will do a lot of fine tuning.
