That's the whole problem. It is not and will not be used to improve our lives. And the reason why is because it does not belong to us – it belongs to a bunch of companies worth billions or trillions of dollars. And so, all the creations you're talking about will also belong to that very same select few companies.
You're not the one who decides how this stuff is used. They are. And they'll use it for whatever they want.

Start with making sure that people will have money, food, shelter, healthcare and other means to actually live their lives after they are replaced by this or that AI model.
Otherwise you have this miracle tool contributing to the human suffering you are talking about.
