So let me get this straight. The instructor feels that AI is the reason that teachers are underpaid/not respected/etc. And then accuses the student of using it with no more evidence than a comparison of something she wrote and something the teacher got AI to write. And honestly the only thing in common is two words put next to each other. And we know that AI pulls from the massive amount of info already on the web, so it's possible that the AI mightve pulled something from a source the student used as well. I would write a 2nd shorter essay on the Scientific Method, the law of "innocence until proven guilty", the value of "reasonable doubt" when determining guilt, and finally defining what bias is, including "confirmation bias", and the effect it can have on someone's perception of truth. It doesn't even have to address this instructor or the situation, but if it's used as a response to the accusation, I think they will get the message.
