IMHO: If a student, having used chatGPT or not, manages to eloquently talk about the entire papar and its nuances with great detail and thoroughness then they either: - put in some serious time to proof read and edit all the content generated by gpt together to get a coherent essay together. - they wrote it all themselves or possibly had gpt edit parts. in either case, who the fuck cares if the student is learning? isnt that the goal of getting an education? to prove you understand the shit being taught?? i feel like majority of this is just a big ego problem and professors are just too proud to accept that shit is, in fact, just not as hard as when their ancient mf asses were in school
