Writing assignments need to end anyways as we know them. Either the kids are good enough at creating a prompt and then editing the paper to sound better than chatGPT or they write it themselves to sound good. ​ Either method should be acceptable. ​ It is 2023, in a few years very few if any people are going to be writing anything without chatGPT anyways. ChatGPT is probably better than most of the Yahoo articles that are being written. ​ We should be rewarding those who use the new tools more effectively rather than requiring them to use blunt tools that are no longer effective.
