I said *successfully*, if your wife notices it, they’re not going to be getting good grades. The only assignments ChatGPT could theoretically help with for most college students are essays, but these are usually a small part of the curriculum.
ChatGPT is no-better at helping students cheat than the resources that already exist on the internet. When classes went fully online during Covid, people started cheating by just having their books open while taking an online exam.
My point is, ChatGPT is no-more dangerous to academic institutions concerned about academic dishonesty, than other tools that exist on the internet.
