Do you have any idea how hard it is to be a stand up comedian? There’s a standup sub on here where people post their best jokes with their pic and get ripped apart by Reddit. To stand up, recognize something human in existence and then find a way to amusingly talk about it that makes the audience react is uniquely human. Everyone of those marvel scripts (before the new generation) is full of tight writing and witty lines that make the audience engage, laugh, and enjoy a film. This takes a true pro and teams of other people to get the final draft of the script. AI will never be able to pull that off. The moving target of modern news, confusing audiences enough to then drop the joke and make them laugh is too complicated to ever be grasped by an AI.
