Shouldn't be difficult for people to outcompete AI then. Though I agree, I think in the long run we may need to change the way our economies are set up to cope with increased automation depending on how the technology evolves. We may actually reach the point where productivity outpaces the need for labor so much that we need to reevaluate the way we approach work. But that doesn't mean going full luddite and halting progress. Not that going full luddite was ever on the table, those writers are gonna go "fuck you, got mine" as soon as they get their way.
