This. Also, the sheer number of people using 3.5-turbo (an even worse version of the non-waitlisted playground models) instead of paying for pro or getting past the "waitlist", and then complaining about how useless it is. And even then, they just don't have the same tuning that the Copilot model does. But I guess it does prove their point in that you can't just give a bunch of developers AI tools and expect it to do their job for them (yet), they still need to know how to use the tool, and like all tools, if it's not helpful then the issue is probably between the chair and monitor.
