This is something I would expect from a CIO. They are typically far removed from the realities of the engineering team I have yet to see conclusive proof that AI provides the productivity boost that its proponents claim it has. There is a lot of hype and lots of sensational articles about how it boost your productivity by 10x or how non-AI engineers will soon become useless, but I have seen none of that in practice Many people already use Github Copilot or ChatGPT for their programming jobs. And while it certainly seems useful, the benefits are only marginal. It is not a tool that is going to replace 23 engineers
