Writers are fucked. Going on strike doesn't work when companies don't need your labor anymore. Unions have zero abiltiy to fight automation. Given how horrible the writing out of Hollywood has been for the last 5 years, I welcome AI written stories and I have no sympathy for the writers. They have been producing shit that is so bad that it's insulting to their audience. Sanctimony and contempt for your audience is no substitute for capable writing. Please let the people who wrote She Hulk and The Last Jedi get laid off. Ultimately, those whole conflict is meaningless though. All of Hollywood is pretty much fucked too. AI video will put the entire industry out of business withing 5 years. People will simply be able to tell an AI to create whatever kind of movies they want. People will upload the best ones to the web. Hollywood is already dead and it has been so shitty to its audiences that it deserves it's death.
