I've been using the free version of ChatGPT for a couple projects and hit a similar problem for both. One is a novel about the same length as this one, intended to read like a series of interconnected bedtime stories. The other is a program to display some data for work, one version in HTML, then in Python. In both cases, I've found that it does well in small chunks. It can generate a standalone chapter or part of the program that works fine independently. But it forgets how it formatted a variable, or which characters were good guys or bad guys, continuity issues in general. All this to say, does GPT4 handle larger texts and maintain continuity better?
