It's not the lack of skilled writers that caused that. It's the uncreative executives who make choices on these projects that turn them into the dumpster fires they become. Those same executives will use AI to make similar trash. The irony is they do it for the money yet often make the movies unwatchable and then do not actually make any money off the franchises they destroy.
