On what planet is this becoming clear? The exact opposite is happening. Microsoft laying off a very incompetent team that was largely useless is hardly some harbinger of anything.
The idea that the AI Who has the least rules will have an advantage is just absurd. Litigation is just one of many things that will absolutely affect it.
