My takeaway so far is that too much has the "it's AI" label slapped onto it. You can have a really great computer program that does something really complicated and someone will say it's AI. Self driving cars use a computer program? Nah, it's AI. A program that puts together an image based on user keywords? It's AI! Is it AI though? Missile fly themselves to a designated target but no one has said it's AI, it's just a computer program. Why not? Because missiles have been around long enough that people would call bullshit if someone said that now. But self driving cars? That's AI.
