I have sounding this alarm for over 5 years now. Even now, people just cannot fathom a world where these jobs are automated away. It gets even worse trying to explain that the number of professional jobs like lawyers, accountants, and doctors are going to go down as automation leverages what each individual can do.
Obviously it does not stop there, but I'm pretty sure we are going to have to fall off a cliff before anyone starts thinking about putting on a parachute.
