I think we have been hating automation, when we have actual full employment again and this white castle can produce burgers for say 20% less that means we effectively have deflation in fast food.
The problem was not enough jobs because the economy was shit for the past two decades.
Automation is not taking most jobs any time soon, because we would have seen that in increasing productivity gains and not the massive slow down we have seen.
