Actually this already happened years ago. On Wechat group chat, if you post a picture involves nude or forbidden words, your post will be blocked automatically, others won't see it. On Weibo, in addition to whats on Wechat, "they" block or delete your post if it is consider inappropriate, I use "they" because I really don't know who is making the judgement. The reason is always due to "related departments" or "related policies", never be specific. That is why people are starting to do what we call "self-castration" on Chinese social media, on Chinese tiktok, even "death", "blood" will be replaced in the subtitles of the video.
