Isn't "projection" when person a unintentionally accuses person b of doing something that person a themselves is actually doing? Or does that mean something else in philosophy? I mean I get that we all determine the motivations of another person by comparing their behaviour to our perception of how our own motivations (and of how other people's motivations in the past) seem to shape our behaviour, but I don't understand how you can automatically equate that with projection. Or am i misunderstanding what you're saying?
