Plenty wring their hands and say, it's no good to invest in better emissions, *if there's nothing we can do about India and china*? We have our own portion of India & China's emissions; that we're directly responsible for. Every product we import from china, we're polluting in Asia. Every product we import that sources parts & materials from them, too. It's all a question of how dedicated we're willing to be. But there's another problem that must be addressed before the public can afford to stop using Chinese goods: the unequal accumulation of wealth with the already wealthy, and tax havens.
